The module
The 5th module of the Master opens the chapter on hyaluronic acid fillers in facial aesthetic medicine, part 1. Two days at the University Centre of Dentistry in Parma, led by Dr Giovanni Mauro: from HA biochemistry to injection practice, through to application on a patient.
The programme
Thursday 25 June — fundamentals and techniques
- Biochemical aspects of hyaluronic acid used as a filler, and a product overview.
- Building the treatment plan: history, patient selection and assessment, communication, consent, and management of complications.
- Basic injection techniques: micropapular blebs, retrograde linear, bolus, fanning; use of the cannula.
- Clinical application: nasolabial and marionette folds, the lip approach (Paris lips, De Joseph, French lips, Happy Face), practice on mannequins.
Friday 26 June — chairside practice
The second day is entirely hands-on: each participant brings a patient, discussed in advance, and applies the techniques learned under the tutor's guidance.
Rheolyse in the classroom
Aesthemed supports the module as technical sponsor, bringing the Rheolyse line into the classroom. It is a chance to see the rheological approach applied to teaching: choosing the gel by facial plane, read through G', G'' and tan δ before the syringe. From the structure of Invisible Linked for volume and support, to the biorevitalisation of Invisible Pure — the same logic that guides clinical practice, within a university course.
